Executive Director

Brandon Appelhans is the founder and Executive Director of My Quiet Cave. He holds a BA in Speech Communications from Colorado State University and a Mdiv from Denver Seminary. After living with bipolar disorder for years, he wants all people to experience life in the midst of the struggle. He and his family live in Denver, Colorado

Kimberly Britt

Program Director

Kimberly Britt is the Program Director of My Quiet Cave. She holds a BA in TV/Video from Emerson College and an MA in Counseling from Colorado Christian University. She and her family live in Denver, Colorado


Joanna E. Jackson

Administrative Assistant

After walking alongside My Quiet Cave as a friend and volunteer, Jo is thrilled to be serving on staff with this amazing team. She has been involved in the start-up and management of nonprofit ministries since 2011 and is passionate about meeting practical needs through the love of Christ. Jo earned her B.A. in English from Cornell University and M.S. in Inclusive Adolescent Education from Nazareth College. She and her family live in Aurora, Colorado.


Kamga Tchassa

Marketing Director

Kamga Tchassa is a digital storyteller with a love for human connection. He holds a BSc in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Buea in Cameroon. He moved to the US in 2018 to join his fianc√©, who is now his wife. They live in Pueblo, Colorado with their westie. When he’s not helping grow businesses by leveraging the internet, he’s reading and writing. Or pretending to rock-climb.

Ellie Stevens

Program Director for Advancing Warriors

Ellie Stevens is a retired USAF Major and board certified Psychiatrist with a passion to serve veterans and first responders as the program director for Advancing Warriors. She has found through her own trauma and struggles, the importance of community, authenticity, and finding Christ at the center of it all.
